Who’s ready for an upgrade? This past summer, many of our loyal homeowners and real estate investors joined our SUMMER☀️ REFRESH campaign — updating their vacation homes with elevated furnishings, new bedding, re-upholstered outdoor seating and luxe finishing touches that make a property feel brand new again.
One of our favorite transformations: a guest suite reimagined at Casa del Mar, in the quaint seaside town of Bucerías MX.

From Childhood Memories to Grown-Up Getaways
Originally designed for two young girls, this room had seen years of joyful chaos and sleepovers. But as the family’s needs evolved — and those “little girls” headed off to college — the space needed to grow up too.
Our design brief was clear:
“Make it stylish, versatile and perfect for hosting friends, college crew and extended family. Keep the vintage coastal palette we love — just modernize it and make the guest suite more accommodating.”
The CRATE Interiors team reused the existing color story, refreshed the layout and installed a new custom bunk configuration that accommodates more guests in comfort and grown up style. Updated art, layered textiles and a floating shelf with integrated charging give the room a polished, grown-up feel while preserving its seaside charm.

Our onsite crew reverified every dimension, confirmed the layout and prepared the new install with precision. In just two days, the room was fully installed, staged, photographed and handed over to the housekeeping team — ready for the family’s arrival and the next round of guests.
