And for surfers, the breaks are pure perfection—long admired by locals and global nomads alike.
The Vision
From the first discovery session, the brief was crystal clear:
Maximize ROI with a rental-ready property positioned for the highest nightly rates.
Layer in every luxury amenity to attract elite guests.
Honor the family’s California surf roots with a design aesthetic grounded in vintage coastal culture.
Our design direction embraced washed colors, natural linens, and retro athletic motifs, creating a “lived-in luxury” feel that blends nostalgia with modern comfort.

The Design Execution
Bedrooms: Two tandem master suites face the ocean, while two guest suites capture lush mountain views. By reclaiming a former service room, we created a custom bunk-and-tech lounge for the younger generation.
Living Spaces: The formal living room invites relaxation with down-wrapped seating, driftwood accents, and technical jute rugs, while a clubby media room promises late-night movies and family gatherings.
Outdoor Lifestyle: An entire upper floor is devoted to open-air living, with a wet bar, BBQ station, and generous lounge zones for endless surfside sunsets.
Every element was designed for durability, style, and guest appeal—balancing personal comfort with rental performance.
The Partnership
This project was executed in collaboration with Mita Residential, ensuring the property transitions seamlessly into the rental market.
