CRATE Interiors Hosts a Traditional Asado Street Party

Every year, many Bay of Banderas businesses host traditional holiday parties or posadas for their employees and team members. These are festive gatherings, often accompanied by house-made food, holiday beverages, gifts, bonuses and raffles along with annual company awards. The feasts start early in December and officially kick off the vacation period where most local residents focus on family, rest and relaxation.

This year, CRATE Interiors celebrated with the largest Posada party to date. With over 60 crew members and their families in attendance, our team hosted an authentic Asado street party in the Marina Vallarta area. An Asado has a specific theme and is perhaps the most traditional of all the year-end festivities. Complete with a professional chef-prepared barbeque, the company’s much-loved pinata contests and grand prize giveaways, it was truly a spectacular night under the stars and tinsel.

For our design firm, our schedule of year-round vacation property furnishing deliveries, full-scale renovations and interior decor projects are made possible by a dedicated, locally based White Glove Install crew and supported by a circle of six family-operated teams and artisans. These craftsmen consist of interior painters, carpenters, electricians and plumbers, master tilers, a cleaning crew and inspectors who contribute expertise, creativity and innovation to every big reveal. Without them, this work would not be possible. 

To thank these amazing crews, this year’s elaborate fiesta included a fully catered dinner prepared by Chef Alexis of ORCHID PV, open bar and beverage stand, a live DJ set by Anylú Cruz of VoidLove spinning traditional holiday tunes. Hostess Rosario announced the many contests and raffles throughout the evening. Winners took home large electronics and other gifts destined to ring in the holiday cheer for the entire family.
