Timeless Mexican character meets modern family comfort in the lush landscape of La Canada Verde.
Refreshing this traditional Mexican hacienda in Conchas Chinas Mexico was a mission in preserving its soulful charm.
When San Francisco owners Diedre and Lauryn entrusted CRATE Interiors with refreshing their traditional Mexican hacienda in Conchas Chinas, the vision was clear: preserve its soulful charm while making every space work seamlessly for a busy, modern family.
Together, we created a plan that honored the home’s architectural details and brought fresh comfort to everyday living. Air conditioning, washrooms, ceiling fans and woodwork received thoughtful upgrades. While a cleverly placed custom barn doors add privacy between the lower-level kids sleeping areas.
In a record-breaking 5 weeks, this project was designed and delivered, ready for owners' first test stay in paradise.
New furnishings, handmade statement lighting and rugs rated for kids and pets revitalized the main living space. In the bedrooms and primary suite, cozy soft goods, handmade pillows and fringed throws created a restful grownup retreat. On the outdoor decks we chose comfortable, commercial-grade terrace seating to set the scene for sun-drenched afternoons and sundowner toasts on repeat.
In a record-breaking 5 weeks, this project was designed and delivered, ready for owners' first test stay in paradise. We were thrilled to work with both buyer and sellers agents Hugo Padilla and Jay Burchell on this collaboration.
